What should I pay attention to when cleaning and maintaining Pet Cages in daily use?

In daily use, when cleaning and maintaining your pet cage, it is vital to keep it clean and safe for your pet's health. Here are some things to pay attention to when cleaning and maintaining it:

Regular cleaning:
Clean your pet cage regularly to prevent bacteria from growing. It is recommended to perform a comprehensive cleaning once a week.
If your pet has the habit of defecating in the cage, it should be checked and cleaned every day.
Choose the right detergent:
Use non-toxic, pet-safe detergents. Avoid using detergents with strong chemical ingredients, as these may be harmful to your pet's health.
You can wipe the cage with warm water and pet-friendly soap or detergent.
Wash every part thoroughly:

The bottom plate, fence, door, handle, corners and other places of the cage need to be thoroughly cleaned. Especially the places that pets may often touch, such as mattresses, food and water bowls, etc., also need to be cleaned regularly.
Disinfection:
Deep disinfection once a month, you can use a pet-specific disinfectant, or disinfect with diluted vinegar water, which can effectively kill bacteria.
Ensure ventilation:
When cleaning, make sure the pet cage is in a well-ventilated place so that it can be thoroughly dried. Moisture and dirt will breed bacteria.
Check the integrity of the cage:
Check the structure of the cage regularly to ensure that there are no loose screws, cracks or rusted parts, which may pose a safety hazard to the pet.
Check the door locks to prevent the pet from escaping.
Maintain appropriate bedding and coverings:
Replace the bedding (such as paper mats, wood chips, straw mats, etc.) in the cage regularly to keep it clean and comfortable.
If the cage has fabric parts, make sure these parts can be washed, and wash and replace them regularly.
Avoid using toxic or irritating items:
Do not use cleaning products with strong fragrances when cleaning to avoid pets inhaling harmful gases or causing allergic reactions.

Through these maintenance measures, you can ensure that the pet cage is clean and hygienic, providing a safer and more comfortable environment for your pet.
